Racecourse Manager Nathan Corden says "Party in the Paddock is a new development for the racecourse and it is fantastic news to sign up a quality act such as Journey South for its inception. I hope to make the Party in the Paddock series an annual event and grow it year on year. The idea behind the series is to tempt those people who may not necessarily be interested in horse racing to sample an evening at the races with the added attraction of live music once racing has finished - we want to create a real party atmosphere to ensure everyone has an enjoyable evening."

He said: "We've got such a good atmosphere in the ground and banter in the changing room. If you get past the stage where you are not just team mates, but friends as well it brings out a positive on the pitch. When you are not doing well you don't expect to be going in nightclubs, around racecourses and looking as if we are enjoying ourselves, because we feel the hurt as much as the fans and want to do well."

Nathan Corden, Racecourse Manager of Southwell, said "The Forest lads had a great day out at the racecourse and a few of them won, though those that decided to listen to my tips were not quite that fortunate!"
