Not only will you be able to experience the thrill of live horse racing, but you will see the 2010 Miss Newark & District crowned live on stage straight after the last race. If that is not enough then we have the fabulous U2UK performing live to ensure you have a 'Beautiful Day'.

The 2010 Miss Newark & District winner will go onto represent the local area in the prestigious Miss England competition to be held later in the year. Last year's winner Megan Brown will be on hand to assist the judges as well as offering help and advice to this year's hopefuls. The contestants will be interviewed throughout the day and will be on hand to help present the trophies to the winners of all the day's races.

After this year's Miss Newark & District winner is announced, U2UK will be introduced onto the stage to begin their live performance of U2 hits. U2UK are the leading UK U2 tribute band and have played many venues across UK and Europe. To listen to them in action please click on the video below
