What We Can Offer

The Education Programme can bring a vast range of curriculum areas to life:

Racecourse Education Days - these can be on actual race days or non race days depending on your requirements. A morning's activities based around Maths, for example, can then be followed by the pupils seeing some real life racing to bring much of what they have learnt to life. Racecourses provide a huge resource both inside and out and the curriculum areas we can cover are enormous.
Trainers Yards - a visit to see the horses in a trainers yard can provide a very rewarding insight into the life of a stable and link in with many projects at school.
School Visits - we provide workshops and activities within the school environment if an outside visit is difficult. Ride the 'Equiciser' our training horse and learn about gravity and balance or interview a jockey for example. We can bring racing into your classroom.
Teacher Development Days - we are very keen to continue to hold days at racing related venues for teachers to get a taste of what we can offer and allow teachers to help us develop new and innovative ideas based around all curriculum areas.
Workshops - as well as the above we also provide workshops for Maths, Science and Technology Fairs, and hold education days at Stud Farms and link in with the National Horseracing Museum and the Racing Schools in Newmarket and Doncaster.
