Southwell Golf Club is renowned for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere to both members and visitors alike. With golf one of the first activities allowed to resume when lockdown restrictions lifted, we are pleased to be able to welcome back our existing and new members to enjoy a round of golf in safe surroundings.
Founded in 1993, the club is in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside and has nine holes located in the centre of the racecourse. Anyone visiting Southwell Golf Club will be sure to start their experience with a warm welcome from Tim and his staff.
Tim Newham is a fantastic addition to our golf club. Qualified as a PGA professional in 2009 off a handicap of +3, Tim graduated in the top 5% with an overall distinction after winning several county championships. Since turning professional Tim has won over 30 titles, held a full PGA Euro pro tour card and was captain of the Notts PGA in 2017 & 2018.
Open since 2007, the spacious clubhouse offers a range of hot and cold food, as well as a well-stocked bar providing welcome refreshments after a round of golf. Enjoy the first-class facilities where players can discuss the merits of their game in comfortable and pleasant surroundings.
We're pleased to have been accredited with the Visit Britain 'We're Good To Go' mark so our customers know we're taking their safety seriously.
