By Train
The nearest station is Rolleston which is next to the course. Rolleston Train Station is on the Nottingham to Lincoln line. One of our race goers told us this info: "Rolleston Station is next to the racecourse, on the line from Nottingham to Newark. However, not all weekday services stop there – you’ll need to check with East Midlands Trains before you travel. There is a rail service from Nottingham to Rolleston at 11.25 on Sundays. Nottingham is on the London to Sheffield services from St, Pancras, and has a service from Cardiff and Birmingham that potters along at its own leisurely pace."
The taxi in Southwell is Minster five 2's on 01636 525252. Approx two miles to the course.
By Bus
There is also an excellent and very frequent bus service from Nottingham to Southwell seven days a week, This is the No. 26 service from stop K1 at Nottingham Bus Station. There is also a more infrequent bus service from Newark, the No. 28 (on the London to Edinburgh line) an 8.05am in the morning, which would leave you waiting a fair while for Gates Open!
