Start 2027 with an evening of all-weather horse racing at Southwell Racecourse on Saturday 2nd January. With the track lit up and the sound of hooves around you, settle in for an evening of racing and enjoy a night out with friends and family.
Southwell is a genuine, welcoming racecourse where you can enjoy racing throughout the year. Get close to the action at the rail, see the horses in the parade ring and watch the finish from trackside. January horse racing under the floodlights gives you a great chance to enjoy the sport during the winter months, with the racing taking place on Southwell's all-weather track.
Make an evening of your visit with food and drinks alongside the racing. You can also make your night extra special, enjoying our Sherwood Bistro package which features a set two-course meal, racecard and private table to enjoy throughout the duration of the fixture!
Book your tickets online ahead of the fixture and join us at Southwell for the first Saturday evening of the year. Bring your friends and family, get close to the action and enjoy an evening of floodlit racing. You can also explore hospitality options available through Seat Unique.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
