Saturday 9th January brings an evening of floodlit flat racing to Southwell Racecourse. As the winter evening draws in, the lights come on and the focus turns to the track, with plenty to watch from the parade ring through to the finishing line. It is a great way to enjoy horse racing in January with friends and family.
There is something different about watching flat racing after dark. Follow the horses from the parade ring before heading trackside to watch the action unfold, then see the runners battle towards the finish under the floodlights. With the track lit up around you, every race has its own moment to follow.
Make the most of a winter Saturday with an evening at the races. Southwell is a genuine, welcoming racecourse where racing stays at the heart of the evening. Bring your friends, meet up with family or simply enjoy an evening following the action from close to the track.
Save by booking your tickets in advance, or buy them at the gate on the day. You can also explore hospitality options available through Seat Unique if you want to make more of your evening at Southwell.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
Concessions discounts are only available on the day.
