Thursday 11th February brings an evening of floodlit flat racing to Southwell Racecourse. As daylight fades, the floodlights take over and the focus turns to the track. For anyone looking for horse racing in February, this is a chance to enjoy live flat racing with plenty to follow from the parade ring to the finish.
There is a different rhythm to racing once the lights are on. Watch the horses head out before finding your place trackside and follow the runners as they make their way around the all-weather track. The floodlights give you a clear view of the action as each race builds towards the finishing line.
Swap the usual Thursday routine for an evening at the races. Bring friends, family or colleagues and enjoy a night centred around live sport. Southwell has a relaxed, welcoming feel, making it easy to settle in and follow the racing as the evening progresses.

Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
