Tuesday 5th January brings an afternoon of jump racing to Southwell Racecourse, giving you a chance to start the new year with some proper action on the track. Watch the horses tackle the jumps and get close to the sport from the rail as the afternoon unfolds.
Southwell is a genuine, welcoming racecourse where racing feels close at hand. Watch the horses in the parade ring before finding your place trackside and following the action as they head towards the finish. There’s plenty to take in between races too, whether you’re catching up with friends or taking in the view from around the course.
There’s a certain appeal to a January afternoon at the races. Wrap up warm, grab a hot drink and enjoy the sound of hooves as the horses head out onto the track. Southwell is known for its quaint countryside racing, making this a chance to enjoy a relaxed afternoon away from the usual routine.
Make a day of it and spend Tuesday 5th January with us at Southwell. Whether you’re a regular racegoer or simply fancy an afternoon watching live jump racing, come along and get close to the action.
