Arena Racing Company is delighted to announce the return of the £1,000,000 All-Weather Bonus scheme, which runs from October 20 to Good Friday, March 26.
Runners at Lingfield Park, Newcastle, Southwell and Wolverhampton will compete for a range of bonus prizes, including five 'Horse of the Month' competitions and the overall £100,000 'Horse of the Year' title. For the 2026/27 season, all runs at ARC-operated fixtures at Chelmsford City Racecourse will also be included in the scheme for the first time.
Yorkshire Glory scooped the headline prize last season for trainer Ben Haslam and the Blue Lion Racing syndicate with eight wins and five placed efforts from 14 qualifying runs.
Wolverhampton’s fixture on March 23 provided a thrilling conclusion to the Horse of the Year race as Yorkshire Glory clinched the six-figure sum with success over his title rival Aisling Oscar.
Yorkshire Glory ended the season with 293 points, 12 clear of the Adrian Keatley-trained Aisling Oscar. Francesi finished third for Tony Carroll with 263, while fourth Latin was among three James Owen-trained contenders to finish in the top 10.
As well as the £100,000 Horse of the Year accolade, Yorkshire Glory’s exploits across the campaign secured an additional £25,583 in bonuses for his connections.
Overall, the Horse of the Year competition distributed £710,500 between the top 30 finishers, while 39 horses picked up monthly cash prizes totalling £374,500.
The total monthly prize funds are as follows:
October & November – £35,000 (1st – 3rd)
December – £35,000 (1st – 3rd)
January – £101,500 (1st – 10th)
February – £101,500 (1st – 10th)
March – £101,500 (1st – 10th)
Ben Cook, ARC’s Racing Director, said: “The £1,000,000 All-Weather Bonus has proved incredibly popular since its introduction in 2022.
“Yorkshire Glory was a very worthy winner of the £100,000 Horse of the Year title last season. He also picked up a further £25,583 after tying for first place in March & April’s Horse of the Month competition, having also finished in the top 10 in February.
“The tussle between Yorkshire Glory and Aisling Oscar was great to watch last year, and we hope to see more interesting head-to-heads over the course of this winter as even more owners and trainers look to get involved.”
There are additional bonuses available for the stable staff of winning horses as well as the most successful jockeys at ARC tracks during the winter.
