Southwell Racecourse is set to host a tail-wagging day out like no other with its Dog Friendly Raceday, inviting both humans and their four-legged companions to enjoy an afternoon of Premier horse racing, dog shows, and fun activities.
Whether you’re a proud pup parent or just love dogs, this is your chance to experience live racing in a dog-friendly atmosphere, with something for everyone—from playful pups to seasoned show dogs.
What to Expect
In partnership with Trent Valley Dog Club, there will be six dog shows throughout the afternoon:
- 1:45pm – Prettiest Bitch
- 2:00pm – Handsome Hound
- 2:15pm – Fanciest Trick
- 2:45pm – Waggiest Tail
- 3:15pm – Dog Judge Wants to Take Home
- 3:45pm – Best in Show (BIS)
Please note: Timings are subject to change.
Dogs are welcome outdoors, with a designated area indoors within the grandstand hall. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times (retractable leads not permitted).
