Southwell Racecourse has confirmed 79 fixtures for 2026 after the BHA revealed the 2026 fixture list.

Highlights of the year include a new flat fixture on New Year’s Day. There will also be Southwell’s usual two family days on Easter Sunday and August Bank Holiday Monday.

Our renowned Ladies Day fixture is scheduled for Sunday 16th August, the highlight of our social calendar and the most popular fixture held at Southwell with thousands in attendance.

There is sure to be a high number of potentially smart horses using the track as a starting point in their careers once again in 2026. The likes of smart sprinter Night Raider have previously shed their maiden tag at Southwell.

In the Winter, there is notably a switch from Friday night racing to Saturday night racing. The Winter Derby will switch back to Lingfield Park after being staged at Southwell in 2024 and 2025.

There will also be Jump fixtures to look forward to in 2026. Top trainers Dan Skelton, Paul Nicholls and Nicky Henderson are regular visitors to Southwell with their jumpers, and it will be a pleasure to welcome them back once again next year.

There are a variety of offers and deals available at Southwell Racecourse. Ladies Day 2026 admission tickets will be available at a reduced rate of £30 per person from 18th August to 30th September 2025.

Mark Clayton, Executive Director at Southwell Racecourse, said: “We are once again looking forward to staging a high volume of fixtures in 2026.”

He continued: “We are disappointed to lose the Winter Derby (returning home to Lingfield) but we still have a great deal to get our teeth into - most notably a switch from winter Friday night to winter Saturday night racing and a new flat fixture on New Years Day.”
