Venue Accessibility

Accessibility At Southwell Races
Southwell Racecourse does all it can to ensure it's venue is accessible for all, so that everyone can enjoy their day out. As well as the facilities detailed below, we also offer disabled car parking spaces in car parks A and B.
We have wheelchair viewing ramps trackside, so you never miss any of the action and also overlooking the parade ring on the other side of the Grandstand. Speaking of viewing, we have lift access to the second floor of the Grandstand, allowing for fantastic views overlooking the racecourse and the parade ring. Also, the Seasons Restaurant are on the second floor. There are a host of disabled toilets on the ground floor of the racecourse as well.

Free Entry for Carers

Carers will receive free admission to the racecourse when accompanying a paying disabled guest.

Carer tickets can be claimed by bringing in proof of disability on the day of racing e.g. a Blue Badge (with accompanying photo ID), Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or signed letter from GP (with accompanying photo ID). You will need to buy a full price tickets first either online and on the day and then speak to a member of staff on the turnstiles about claiming your free carers’ badge. Subject to availability.
