80s Explosion Live After Racing: 5:45pm for 75 minutes after the last race
PLEASE NOTE: Race times may change subject to race declaration's at the 48 hour stage.
Travel
- Early arrival is important, as a queue of up to 20 mins can form at peak times on Racecourse Road.
- We will have a one-way system in place, please follow the yellow signs for direction (do not follow sat nav). Entry is via Southwell only, up until 4pm. After 4pm, entry will be via Fiskerton. All vehicles exit via Racecourse Road into Southwell.
- We are pleased to announce, working with East Midlands Railway, there will be an improved service, to and from Rolleston Train Station (50m from Southwell Racecourse) on 17th August. Rolleston is on the Nottingham to Lincoln line, please check the East Midlands Railway website for train times.
- We do not have a taxi rank on-site, please pre-book all taxi’s to drop off/collect from Car Park A.

Please note on Ladies Day, there will be a one-way system in place, please follow the yellow signage and enter via Southwell with entry via Racecourse Road. From 4pm this route will switch, so all traffic enters via the Occupation Lane off Fiskerton Train Station only.
Entertainment
Head over to the stage after the last race as 80s Explosion brings the ultimate 80s party. Entertainment is due to begin after the last race for 75 minutes once all horses have cleared.
The Style Awards - How To Enter:
Simply get your photo taken at the flower wall located on the right side of the Parade Ring by 3:00pm to enter.
5 finalists will be contacted to meet at the Winners Enclosure after the 5th Race where the 2025 Style Awards winner will be announced!
Dress Code
With Ladies Day being one of the most glamorous days of the year, racegoers often dress to impress, with prizes up for grabs in our Style Awards!. Our only strict dress code rule is that sporting team shirts and offensive fancy dress are not permitted at Southwell Racecourse. Other than that, put your best foot forward, wear what makes you feel good and have a great time with us!
